Komodo and Flores Trip

Early morning departure to Labuhan Bajo in West Flores. Upon arrival in Bali, the tour guide will pick you up and take you to the port. From there, your excursion to the beautiful and unspoilt island of Rinca begins. Mangrove forests mark the coast in front of the arid savannah and hilly islands. The horizon looks very contrasting over the white sandy beach and crystal clear water. After 2 hours of boating, you will arrive in Rinca. At the harbor, you can see some lizards. Please note that these animals are very aggressive and you are not allowed to enter the park alone without a ranger. On the trail, you will see the largest varan in their original home. After 3 hours of hiking back to the boat, where you can accommodate for the rest of the day, spend your first night on the boat under the stars. You can go fishing, play cards, or practice zodiac signs. Please stay in the boat because you are not allowed to go ashore at night.

The 2nd day trip to Komodo starts early in the morning because of the sunrise. Since many large cruise ships dock in Komodo, it is very rare to see Komodo varans. The probability is low, so we only plan this day for snorkeling and swimming at Pink Beach, whose underwater world is like paradise. After lunch, drive to Pulau Kalong island, where you can see many flying foxes towards evening. In good weather, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. Overnight in Labuhan Bajo

After breakfast, visit the fish market and proceed to Goa Batu Cermin (please check in with our guide for this stop) and in the morning, drive uphill to Melo for the panoramic stop. Enjoy the countless charms of the flower island (Flores) via the most winding roads. Then, visit a traditional village in Cancar, meet the local people, and enjoy beautiful views of cobweb-like paddy fields (Ingko). Here you have a new take on travel landscapes that is completely different from Bali. Arrive in the coldest highlands of Flores, in Ruteng. Dinner and overnight at MBC Susteran Ruteng (Roman Catholic Nuns' House).

Early morning departure from the hotel to Loh Liang. Here you will learn the prehistory and early history of Flores and Homo Floresiensis, also known as the "Hobbit". In September 2003, in a karst cave called Liang Bua, anthropologists discovered an 18,000-year-old skeleton, the first fossil record of Homo floresiensis, also known as the "hobbit." Sail to the Ranamese, a crater lake. Lunch break at the beach in Borong (lunch box). Before Bajawa, make a stop in Aimere, the center of palm liquor production. In the afternoon, bathing in the Mengeruda Hot Spring near Soa Return to Bajawa for dinner and overnight.

Early morning departure from the hotel to Wogo and Bena Dorf Here your megalithic trek begins in an aboriginal village with traditional houses and megalithic culture. The two villages lie between the valleys and on the rivers of the Inerie mountain. They refer to the prehistory and Stone Age of the inhabitants. Afterwards, the journey continues to Ende with a stopover at Blue Stone Beach. After lunch, you can visit the Ende market and then continue to Moni. Dinner and overnight at Kelimutu Eco Lodge Moni.

Departure from the hotel at 4am to Kelimutu to the three colored crater lakes at about 1690m. After sunrise, you may have a hike to the waterfall with hot water (this is a hard hike and due to the time and incidental costs, please ask your guide!!) Continue to Jopu where you will visit a traditional house called "Rumah Adat". Afterwards, you continue to Maumere, your last stop on Flores. Dinner and overnight in Maumere

After breakfast, free time before the flight back to Denpasar. Arrive in Denpasar and transfer to your beach hotel.
